Internal Blends
Mix internal blends into food. Because of the sweet flavor of the glycerine in our blends, most pets enjoy the taste. Some may need the herbs to be mixed into wet food.
Internal Blends should be refrigerated after opening.
Topical Blends
Our topical blends can be applied to the pet’s skin up to 5 times per day. We recommend that they be applied outdoors as they contain herbs which could possibly stain clothing or furniture. Our topical blends are safe if licked. Most animals will choose not to lick off these formulas due to the bitter nature of the herbs.
Dosage – Internal Blends

| 26-60 pounds | 20-40 drops, 2-3 times per day |
| 61 pounds and up | 1-2 dropperfuls, 2-3 times per day |
A squeeze of the dropper bulb fills it about half way up. This is considered a “dropperful.” One dropperful is approximately 45 drops.
In general, acute conditions require dosages on the higher end of the scale. Chronic conditions respond better to lower dosages given over a longer period of time. We recommend starting pets off with a lower dosage and increasing from there if there are no unwanted side effects, and if the low dose isn’t resulting in the desired results. The dosages on the low end of our recommended scale are very low in terms of Chinese herbal standards. Although it’s perfectly safe to raise them, we believe that the aim of treatment should be to apply the lowest dose which will achieve the desired effect.
As a general rule, the longer an animal has suffered with a health problem, the longer it takes to resolve. Some conditions heal within a week or two. Others require longer treatment.
If treatment is given for more than two weeks, we recommend treating for 8 days on and 2 days off.
When necessary, two internal blends can be safely used together. When using two internal blends, we recommend that you split the dosages half and half, or use 2/3rds dose of one blend with 1/3rd dose of another.
