Description
Chinese medicine teaches that healthy digestion depends on the proper functioning of the Spleen and Stomach. (As a reminder, organs in Chinese medicine are not the same as the organs of Western medicine. The Chinese “Spleen” has very little to do with the anatomical spleen.)
I Don’t Want to be Gross…
but the problems our dog had with his tummy were making it really hard to live in our house. Thank goodness for Digestive Blend. It’s been a miracle for our family.
The Spleen and Stomach make up a yin/yang pair. The Stomach’s job is to “rot and ripen” food. This separates the pure essences of food (which become energy) from the turbid waste (which is excreted). The Spleen transforms the food into energy (or Qi) and transports this Qi throughout the body.
Digestive problems occur when the Stomach and Spleen aren’t functioning as they should. The Qi of the Stomach can become rebellious and flow upward leading to nausea and vomiting. Heat in the Stomach meridian causes foul smelling breath. Weakness in the Qi of the Spleen can lead to a build-up of turbid dampness that causes flatulence, bloating, or loose stools. Food can also become stuck or stagnant when the Spleen Qi is weak leading to loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort or pain, and bad breath.
It is common that a diet heavy in rich and fatty foods (like many commercial pet foods) damages the Qi of the Spleen and Stomach. Eating a healthy diet is crucial to restore good health.
Digestive Blend is a formulation of herbs that address the most common dysfunctions of the Spleen and Stomach seen in pets.
The Chinese medicine treatment principles of the blend are to –
• Harmonize Stomach
• Fortify the Spleen
• Eliminate Dampness
• Disperse Stagnant Food
• Regulate the Qi
Digestive Blend is made with these highest quality ingredients –
Huo Xiang (Herba Agastachis Seu Pogostemi), Hou Po (Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis), Ban Xia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Ternatae), Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Fu Ling (Sclerotium Poriae Cocos), Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Shan Zha (Fructus Crataegi), Shen Qu (Massa Medica Fermentata), Gu Ya (Fructus Germinatus Oryzae Sativae), Bai Zhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Da Zao (Fructus Zizyphi Jujubae), and Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) in a base of pure vegetable glycerine, water, and organic alcohol (total alcohol content less than 4%)
Treatment Course – As a general rule, the longer an animal has suffered with a health problem the longer it takes to resolve. Some conditions heal within a week or two. Others require longer treatment. If treatment is given for more than two weeks, we recommend treating for 8 days on and two days off.
Mix blend into food. Refrigerate when open.
Because of the sweet flavor of the glycerine in our blends, most animals enjoy the taste. Some may need the herbs to be mixed into wet food.

This easy to use product is perfect for my cat who lives to eat bugs, lizards and anything else he can! Sometimes his eating habits make him throw up and cause other stomach issues which had me worried. Now I just drop this into his wet food and he is perfectly fine.

Can’t Say Enough Good Things
My cat got out and ate some bad trash (or something) and got really sick. The vet gave him antibiotics and that just made him even worse! I put the Qi Blends Digestive Blends in his food and he was back to normal the very next day. I’m so happy with Chinese Herbal products. I will definitely be trying them any time my cats have health issues.
